Fundraising for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity
We are delighted to be partnering with ABF The Soldiers’ Charity this year; we hope you will enjoy raising money for this very worthy cause and that it will encourage you to dig deep on the day! With 2018 marking 100 years since the end of the First World War, we wanted to show our support for soldiers, veterans and their families.
About the Charity
The Soldiers’ Charity was founded in 1944: since then it has helped many hundreds of thousands of members of the Army family, from the youngest child to the oldest veteran, both in the UK and around the world. In the last year, its work has supported around 70, 000 people.
As the British Army’s national charity, it believes that all serving soldiers, veterans and their immediate families should have the opportunity to avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity.
You can help give a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families when they are in desperate need.
The Soldiers’ Charity makes grants to individuals through their Regiments and Corps and supports a wide range of specialist charities that sustain the British Amy ‘family’, both at home and around the world.
