Spectators

Spectators are an integral part of this event – the Stampeder’s need cheering on and we need YOU to be part of our cheering team!

A bar and cafe area will be available for participants and spectators from 9.00am serving warming drinks, cooling beers and a choice of sandwiches and food.

Safety

For your safety, stewards and Marines will be on hand at the various points throughout the course and at the obstacles. Please follow their advice and guidance at all times. If you need help during an obstacle or during the course, please make this known to the steward.

Please don’t go ‘off piste’ and follow the official route at all times to ensure your safety. This is clearly marked with directional arrows and tape. Please don’t wear an I Pod or portable music device or watches/equipment that are not water proof– you may not be aware of steward’s instructions and it will get wet!!

A 4 x 4 first aid vehicle and trained crew will be provided for the event. If you need assistance, please make this known to a steward who will be able to get you help as soon as possible.

Please ensure you complete the emergency details on the back of your race number prior to the event. If you fail to finish, please advise a marshal at the finish line so we know that you are safe.
